EXPERIENCE
Héctor is proficient in financial valuation and analysis. His practice focuses on complex litigation, mostly involving the FDIC. He is currently the lead associate on the cases against certain directors and officers of Eurobank and RG Premier Bank. Additionally, he has also been lead associate in MMV’s support of an enforcement action and represented the FDIC in numerous commercial cases. His investigation and analytical skills have led to his help being specifically requested to analyze evidence in complex FDIC Commercial Unit loss-share agreement disputes with assuming institutions. While in law school, he was the executive articles editor of the Puerto Rico Business Law Journal and served as a research and teaching assistant to Prof. Carlos Díaz Olivo, an authority on the Puerto Rico Law of Corporations. Moreover, Héctor was a student law clerk for the Hon. Chief Judge Aida Delgado-Colón of the USDC-PR and the Hon. Juan R. Torruella of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
